First Camp Cuts

With main camp starting Saturday morning, the Flames made the first 3 cuts of the 09/10 pre-season. It’s actually a fairly short list made of up just 3 players: Spencer Bennet, Ryan Howse and Gaelen Patterson. All mid-to-late draft picks from this past summer, so no surprises there. What is surprising is that so many players will be graduating to the big bot portion of the camp. Hopefully some of the younger notables like Wahl, Negrin, Nemisz and Brodie make it into a couple of pre-season games…

As mentioned, tomorrow is day of main camp. There are 3 groups skating and ice times start at 8:30am.
