I like the player though.

Yeah, I don’t see him signing for less than $2 million, and I really don’t see him signing to play for Sutter.

Eventually, his salary expectations will conform with reality, but it will still be north of what we can manage.

…and I don’t think you can set conditions like that under this Darryl/Brent regime.

I couldn’t imagine e would drop from over 4 mil a year to 2… I seriously don’t see him making less money than he did with the Habs. He’s a point per game guy, why would you stick him with PK duty??

He’s quick, sees the ice well, had an injury, but still was a bright spot for the Habs when he played.

I hate that he didn’t even get an offer, but, hey the Habs loss is some other team’s gain. I wish him luck wherever he ends up.
