The Flames will be without Rene Bourque on Saturday as they visit the Los Angeles Kings.

Head coach Brent Sutter confirmed Friday morning that Bourque will not travel with the team to Califronia for games against the Kings and Ducks.

I want to believe that Sutter will do the smart thing and grab a top six guy off Abbotsford (Lundmark or Backlund would be my preference) but the realist in me knows that he’ll just play McGrattan and have another bottom six guy play more minutes.

Yeah. Prust will get in the line-up and Sjostrom will move up.

Crap, and I’m going to be at both of those games too!

Haha. Thanks for the shoutout.

I was actually also planning on doing the LA/ANA games since I have a few friends in LA, but it was too close to the BUF/TOR games.

Spreading that Calgary Flames, Montreal Expos, The U, and Orlando Magic love.

Sorry Flames Fans,

Just picked up Bourque in a mid-November free agent draft to cover the gaping holes left up front so far by Malkin, Semin, Savard, Booth, and Pavelski.

As an Oil fan trapped in Calgary, I have to admit that it was very difficult to make this pick.

In summary, you can lay the blame (and praise) on me, depending on your perspective!

See that thou hurt not "the Oil"

Twelve, Six and Two. Lost two in row. Get back to me in April. ’Nuff said.
